Darren is the son of Jack and Celia and he has an older sister, Ruth. Darren lived with his mum in America before coming to live with Jack. He had a relationship with Mandy and generally caused trouble before he left Chester for the second time.
He returned a couple of years ago from Ibiza with Louise but they soon split up. Darren likes to think of himself as a ladies man but no-one ever seems to want to know.
He works at The Dog and is the manager of the SU Bar. But he is also working as an agent but as Steph found out he isn't very good at that either.
